I've seen a fair amount of whining about The Book of Boba Fett from these so-called fan sites (the article is reprinted from FanSided, of which I've never heard before) like Giant Freakin Robot and others.
Frankly, I enjoyed the show and I've watched it more than once. It was well-done and fit very nicely with the live-action Star Wars library of movies and shows.
I get the sense that Disney is pandering to the audience of the animated shows, which never attracted all the movie fans. But now they risk alienating fans of the movies (including me) with these inexplicable decisions.
I'm still waiting to become bored enough to want to watch Ahsoka, which failed to capture my attention or interest despite what was a promising trailer.

So do you see his face as Boba or any of the Stormtroopers?

I don't know. I'm sure I could get used to it. At least he's got talent. It would be more upsetting for me if they wanted some random hack to take on the role.
And it's not like they haven't changed actors for other roles in the Star Wars universe.
It may come down more to the writing and directing than the acting to get fans to accept this change.
